PURPOSE:To perform intermusic detection without mis-detection, by detecting a cutting state of a record disc based on the output of a sensor and selecting a comparator having an optimum detection capability based on the result of detection. CONSTITUTION:Before playing, a sensor 3 moves on a record disc 4, and an arm position when comparator 15 and 16 rise is stored to a computer 17 as intermusic data and the number of times of the rise of a comparator 10 can be stored. The state of cutting of the record disc 4 is detected in advance depending whether the number of rise of the comparator 10 is 1 or 2 or more, and either the comparator 15 or 16 is selected based on the result. |
