PURPOSE:To make uniform intervals of scanning lines of a recorded image by uniforming the start period of recording by measuring the received signal length of one scanning line, and performing subscanning on a recording part at intervals of time determined by the received signal lengths of plural scanning lines. CONSTITUTION:A received signal length measuring circuit 1 inputs received code signals of four scanning lines at intervals t1-t4 of time. Then, a counter counts the length of one scanning line by a scanning-line synchronizing signal, and the received signal lengths of four lines are recorded successively in a memory 3 through a switch 2 changed over by the scanning-line synchronizing signal. A counter which counts the scanning-line synchronizing signal applies the output of the memory 3 to an adder at intervals of four scanning lines to obtain a signal showing the length of time t1+t2+t3+t4. The output of the adder 4 is applied to a multiplier 5, which multiplies the input by 1/4 to obtain mean time information tm, which is supplied to a circuit 6. The circuit 6 generates a signal for driving a feeding mechanism for recording paper at a period tm, and after certain-time delay by the signal, a signal for the start of recording is applied to a recording device. |
