PURPOSE:To realize the correction of a vertical-line lateral-direction mis-convergence or the prevention of the deterioration of the said mis-convergence, which is not resolved by a deflection york itself, by using a ferromagnetic substance or a non-magnetic substance as the material of a clamping band according to the direction of the said mis-convergence. CONSTITUTION:When a vertical-line lateral-direction mis-convergence YH realized by a pin-cushion-free-type deflection york 1 is an under convergence, a clamping band 7 used for clamping a C.P-ASSY5 should be prepared from a ferromagnetic substance such as iron so as to reduce the pulse component of a magnetic field leaking out from the back of the york 1 and to resolve the under convergence YH. In contrast, the clamping band 7 should be prepared from a non-magnetic substance in correcting a state of an over convergence. The amount of the above correction becomes the smallest when the band 7 is located in the back of a cathode 6, and becomes larger as the band 7 is located closer to the side (A) of a screen. |
