PURPOSE:To increase the utilization of an automatic answering telephone device by detecting and storing incoming or a message when it is not recorded even once, and then resetting the device immediately after a user performs remote operation to check it. CONSTITUTION:Every time the incoming signal of a telephone arrives or every time messages from many and unspecified subscribers are recorded, this automatic answering telephone set stores them by an up-down counter IC3 and when an user performs remote operation at distance, the stored number is counted down and sent out to a telephone line while messages recorded on a receiving tape T-2 are reproduced. When the incoming signal or messages are not stored even once, this device sends an answering message recorded on an answering tape T-1 in response to the remote operation of the user, and then the device is reset, thereby preventing a recording body from being driven. |
