PURPOSE:To permit distinct division for a person in charge of reception by arranging the delivery sorter to a pin-tray and the dividing paper feeding means to pin-tray in the sorting apparatus for the documents prepared by a facsimile printer etc. CONSTITUTION:The copied papers prepared in the form of document by a printer P are sent to a sorter S. The guide 40 of the sorter S is operated by pin-tray assignment signals to feed the documents delivered on the belt 31 of the sorter S to a prescribed pin 39, for example 39'. In the same ways, when the document addressed to the pin 39' is delivered, existence of the preceding documents is judged, and if the existence is detected, a dividing-paper feeding roller 42 is driven to feed a dividing paper 41 to the pin-tray 39' and store the document. Thus, the documents which are supplied are divided by dividing papers 41 to prevent confusion of documents. |
