PURPOSE:To prevent the friction of a paper feed roller from being reduced due to abrasion by constituting so that the paper feed roller is rotated in a reverse direction with a rotating force less than a conveying force of a resist roller immediately after the stacked paper are separated one by one, fed to the resist roller, and pinched by it. CONSTITUTION:A paper feed roller 2 is rotated by a motor 3 in a positive direction, and separates a sheet 4 one by one from a stacked paper 1 and feeds it to a resist roller 5. When the tip of the sheet 4 hit a resist roller 5, a bump section is formed. This bump section actuates a microswitch 7, then the motor 3 of the paper feed roller 2 is made off, a driving electromagnetic clutch 6 of the resist roller 5 is made on, and the resist roller starts the paper feeding. At the same time, the paper feed roller DC motor 3 is reversed its rotations for a predetermined time set by a timer not shown in the figure, thereby the contact face of the paper feed roller 2 with the paper is renewed. Accordingly, the friction of the paper feed roller 2 is prevented from being reduced, and its life can be prolonged. |
