PURPOSE:To mix molding sand, etc. satisfactorily and continuously with a simple device in a mixer for molding sand, etc. by communicating the discharge sides of plural troughs having agitating vanes, and subjecting these to secondary mixing in the communicated parts thereof. CONSTITUTION:Plural troughs 3, 4 are provided in parallel to a base plate 2, and shafts 8 provided with rotary agitating vanes 7 are installed across bearing parts 5, 6 thereof concentrically with the axes of the troughts, and are mutually counter- driven by speed reduction driving devices 9. Molding sand and binders are supplied through the supply port 10 of the trough 3 and molding sand and hardeners throgh the supply port 11 of the trough 4, and these are subjected to primary mixing. Thence, these are merged in a merging and mixing part 13 provided before a discharge port 12 and are agitated and mixed. In the place corresponding to the port 12, discharging vanes 15 are provided to the shafts 8 to discharge the mixture smoothly. It is possible to mix the molding sand as well as chemicals, etc. satisfactorily and continuously by this mechanism. |
