PURPOSE:To realize the structure with no center support, which is easy to manufacture and has the least air flow resistance and produces no vibration noise, by a structure wherein the fan motor of the air conditioner is fitted at the center of the front fan guard and the fan guard is made into a robust integral body composed of radially extending louver doors and a ring. CONSTITUTION:The fan guard 8a of the air conditioner is made into the integral body composed of the louver doors 8c and 8e radially extending from the center, which serves as the fitting part for the fan motor 9b to be fitted, of the louver door 8c and the ring 8d together with a metallic outer casing 8. Owing to the structure as described above, a conventional motor support liable to be an obstacle to drafting is eliminated from the inside of the fan and the air flow resistance is reduced and the manufacture of the fan is facilitated. The fan guard 8a is of the robust integral body structure as mentioned above and generates no noise due to vibration during operation and is remarkably reliable enough to cause no possibility for even a finger of happening to go in. |
