PURPOSE:To make it possible to dispense with a motor-driven three-way valve and to perform in a simple manner the additional heating of a bathtub and the recovery of heat from the bathtub by a method wherein in the titled device provided with a high temperature hot water tank, a reversible circulating device and check valves are used. CONSTITUTION:A heat recovering passage 9 comprising a forward pipe 9a and a backward pipe 9b is connected to the lower part of a hot water tank 1 provided with a heater 2 and to a heat exchanger 8 arranged in the bathtub 5. Further, a hot water circulating passage 11 comprising a hot water pipe 7, a branch pipe 11a and a return pipe 11b is connected to the upper part of the hot water tank 1 while it is made to communicate with the intermediate part of the heat recovering passage 9. In addition, check valves 15-18 which are adopted to flow hot water in the directions of the arrow, respectively, are arranged near the point of communication between the hot water circulating passage 11 and the heat recovering passage 9 and a reversible pump 14 is provided on the side of the heat exchanger 8 with respect to the point of communication between the return pipe 11b and the forward pipe 9a. With the above arrangement, when heat is recovered, the hot water is circulated through the forward pipe 9a, the heat exchanger 8, the backward pipe 9b and the hot water tank 1 while when the bathtub is heated additionally, the hot water is circulated through the hot water tank 1 via the hot water pipe 7, the branch pipe 11a, the backward pipe 9b and the return pipe 11b. |
