摘要 PURPOSE:To enable to realize the stable and long term operation of a soaking pit and to eliminate the need for using an unstable O2 analyser by a method wherein the amount of air to be supplied is controlled on the basis of the pre- established relationship between the value, which is obtained by measuring the amount of fuel supplied and converted to caloric unit, and the air-fuel ratio. CONSTITUTION:A fuel indicating controller 7 controls the opening degree of a fuel controlling valve 2 by means of feedback control with the output of a flow meter 3 in order to flow the amount of fuel necessary for realizing the heat pattern of the soaking pit 1. The output of said flow meter 3 is inputted to a conversion circuit to caloric unit 8 in order to be converted into the calorie equivalent to the output of the flow meter 3. the signal of the calorie Q is inputted to an air-fuel ratio calculating circuit 9 in order to calculate the air- fuel ratio R, which is inputted together with the output of the flow meter 3 to an air-fuel ratio setter 10. Both the outputs Q and R are multiplied with each other in order to obtain the air flow setting signal, which is inputtd to an air flow indicating controller 11. The controller 11 controls the opening degree of an air controlling valve 4.
