PURPOSE:To reduce the internal discharge by dividing the internal of a battery into two chambers of positive chamber and negative chamber, and providing a partition plate provided with limited number of small pores for flowing ions between them. CONSTITUTION:The internal of a lead-acid battery is divided into a positive chamber provided with a positive plate 1 and a negative chamber provided with a negative plate 2, and an insulating partition plate 3 on which limited number of small pores which permits ions in the electrolyte to pass through are perforated is provided between them. Thus a factor of internal discharge is eliminated, the deterioration of performances can be prevented, and the life of a battery is improved. |
