PURPOSE:To improve the heat collecting efficiency of the titled water heater by a method wherein the diameters of a plurality of heat collecting tanks are made smaller sequentially from the uppermost tank to the lowermost one. CONSTITUTION:Cylindrical heat collecting tanks 1-2 are arranged horizontally in different levels and the diameters of the tanks are made smaller sequentially from the uppermost tank 1 to the lowermost tank 2. Further, water communication holes 3, 5...7 in the upper parts of the tanks 2-15 are connected to lower water communication holes 4, 6...8 of the tanks 1-16, respectively. These communication holes are provided on both ends of the respective tanks and the holes 7 and 8 are opened on their opposite ends. In addition, the side wall of an outer casing 9 facing the lowermost tank 2 is inclined with respect to the bottom surface of the outer casing 9. |
