PURPOSE:To decrease the temperature of a bearing which supports a revolving shaft of a target by plating a metal such as gold, silver, platinum, nickel in a specified area on the surface of a rotor opposed to a target to reduce a heat radiation ratio. CONSTITUTION:A rotating anode X-ray tube is formed in such a way that a cylindrical rotor 2 which rotates a target 1 by action of a rotating magnet field generated with a winding arranged outside a tube, and a cylindrical housing 3 which supports a revolving shaft 4 through a rotating bearing 5, with being interposed between the rotor 2 and the revolving shaft 4 of the target 1, are installed. A metal such as gold, silver, platinum, nickel is plated on the surface of the rotor 2 opposed to the targe 1 in a range of 20-30% of the outer surface area of the rotor opposed to the target to reduce a heat radiation ratio. Therefore, the temperature of the rotating bearing shaft is decreased to improve load durability and to stand use for a long time. |
