PURPOSE:To enable continuous analysis of amino acid without clogging a reaction pipe by running a washing liquid through the tube to dissolve precipitated peroxides with the halting of a ninhydrin reagent to be fed into the tube when regenerating a separation column. CONSTITUTION:A sample containing amino acid is introduced from a sampler 5 and a first buffer liquid 24-a fourth buffer liquid 27 are fed sequentially to a column to separate amino acid. After the separation, a regenerative liquid 28 flows. In synchronization with this, a washing liquid (NaOH solution) flows to a reaction tube 13 from a valve 4f while the supply of a ninhydrin reagent 8 is halted. When a signal for elution of a non soluble peroxide in a reaction tube 13 appears, the valve 4f is switched to feed the ninhydrin reagent 8 while the first buffer liquid is fed to a separation column 7 and then, the samfple is analyzed. The reaction tube 13 is washed each time the analysis of the sample is performed. This allows continuous analysis without clogging the reaction tube 13. |
