A process for the production of corrugated-board semi-finished products which can be deformed well by pressing or embossing for dimensionally stable, spatially curved articles comprises the continuous fabrication of a corrugated-board web from a plurality of layers of paper of at least partially differing webs under fully automatic monitoring and guidance along at least one side edge of the individual layers, or intermediate layers formed therefrom, before their final joining together and the cutting off of semi-finished products of the desired length from the finished corrugated-board web. This achieves single-ply or multi-ply corrugated-board semi-finished products with graduations of high dimensional accuracy of the side edges parallel to the direction of fabrication.
