A method of producing cylindrical electrodes for the electrolytic etching of printed circuits consists in the electroerosive forming of recesses (9) in a cylindrical blank (1), the shape of which corresponds to the shape of the conductors of the printed circuit. The electroerosive forming of each recess (9, 10) is carried out in a blank (1) which has the shape of a hollow cylinder in which a continuous opening (2, 12) closed upon itself is cut out with a wire electrode (4), the shape of which opening (2, 12) corresponds to the shape of the conductor of the printed circuit. The cut-out part (8, 13) of the blank (1) is displaced in the direction of the central axis of the blank (1) until located in the opening (2, 12) and is fastened in the located position. <IMAGE>
