PURPOSE:To generate a simulated sound of speed change for sailing sound of vessels and the like, by frequency-modulating a reproduced sound, in recording of sound on a tape recorder of a moving body at a prescribed speed. CONSTITUTION:A steady state sound of a vessel at a prescribed speed is recorded on a tape recorder 2 and the sound is reproduced in the same speed at recording. On the other hand, a frequency for modulation in response to the speed of the vessel to be simulated is calculated, a sinusoidal wave is outputted at an oscillator 3 from this data and modulation is made to the reproduced sound of the tape recorder 2 at a multiplier 4. The simulated sailing sound equivalent to the sound produced with continuously changed tape reproducing speed, by continuously changing the frequency of the oscillator 3. |
