PURPOSE:To miniaturize a closed type, rotary compressor and enhance the weld-workability to the compressor, by forming a projected part, which faces outward, on a side wall of a closed case, which is situated facing the outer peripheral surface of the lower coil end of a motor, and installing a feeding terminal to this projected part. CONSTITUTION:A feeding terminal 15 is arranged, taking advantage of a space surrounded by the lower coil end 3b of a motor 2, a cylinder block 8, and a side wall, of a closed case 1, and is installed to a projected part 13 that is formed on the side wall of a closed case 1 in such a manner that it projects outward, facing the outer peripheral surface of the lower coil end 3b of the motor 2. With this constitution, it becomes unnecessary to increase the height of the closed case 1 for the sake of the feeding terminal 15, while it can be avoided that the closed case 1 is deformed because of the stress caused by drilling of an installation hole to the feeding terminal 15. As a result, the weld- workability of the closed case 1 can be enhanced. |
