<p>The fork-lift truck has a chassis and a lifting assembly at its front. The lifting assembly (6) is connected to the chassis by a suspension with at least one connecting arm (17), the ends of which are pivoted to the chassis and to the base of a fixed sub-assembly (7). A pair of shock absorbers (18) each have one end fixed to the respective arm and the other to the fixed sub-assembly, and are fitted above the pivot points of the connecting arms.
