PURPOSE:To take out output suitabley through one shaft by rendering one of three elements of a planet mechanism input and the other two elements output and changing over brakes provided in the respective outputs. CONSTITUTION:Rotation of a motor M is applied to the input of a sun section 25 through a belt 31 and pulley 30. The sun section 25, a planet section 28 and a rotary ring 27 constitute a planet mechanism A, and brakes B are provided on an output shaft 11 integral with the planet section 28 and an output shaft 13 in transmitting relationship with the rotary ring 27. By braking one of the brakes B, power is transmitted to the output shaft 11 or 13. The brake B is constituted to fasten fixed hubs 65, 66 and a movable hub 67 with elasticity of springs 61, 62, and the braking is released by operating a release ring 63 so that high reliability and small operating force will do. |
