The invention relates to a device for charging incineration furnaces with waste. The aim of the invention is to design the device in such a manner that is it especially suitable for the delivery of the waste in containers which cannot be moved on access ramps in the conventional manner. The invention consists in that, for conveying the waste from the containers delivering it to the height of pouring into the incineration furnace, use is made of a lifting wheel which consists of an inner wall, an outer wall and two side walls which form an annular cavity which is divided by partitions into chambers serving for receiving the waste, and that, below an opening of the stationary inner wall, a sliding surface which conveys the waste into the incineration furnace is provided.
