Acceleration and angle-of-inclination sensor

An acceleration and angle-of-inclination sensor with selectable proportionality between input and electrically analysable output variable. The sensor according to the invention is used for measuring horizontal acceleration and measuring angle of inclination, particularly in vehicles. It offers a solution for the transition from the mechanical/physical quantities of acceleration or inclination to an electrical reference variable which can then be applied to visual or acoustic indicators. As an intermediate measurement quantity, the distance of a guided mass is evaluated which is travelled by the latter under the influence of the abovementioned physical quantities. An excellent means of the sensor is the simple mechanical structure which allows low-cost applications and mass production.
