FIELD: pulp-and-paper industry, in particular, equipment for papermaking machine. ^ SUBSTANCE: belt for papermaking machine has end edges 6, 7 extending transverse to direction of movement and thread lap 2, 4 with longitudinal threads 3 extending in direction of movement and transverse threads 5 extending in direction transverse to direction of movement, and connection device 8 adapted for connecting of end edges 6, 7. Connection device 8 has connection members 9, 10 provided at both end edges 6, 7 and engageable with thread lap 2, 4. Connection members 9, 10 rest with their sides opposite to end edges 6, 7 upon transverse threads 5. Method allows joint to be created for connecting end edges of belt of papermaking machine. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency in formation of joint capable of receiving and transmitting increased longitudinal force in papermaking machine belt. ^ 34 cl, 20 dwg |
