PURPOSE:To cool and lubricate a bearing part efficiently by a method wherein a suction chamber is provided on the opposite side of an operating chamber partitioned by a rotation-preventing fixed ring of a movable scroll member, and a communicating hole is provided at a pivotal part of a base plate of the scroll member. CONSTITUTION:When a compressing action is conducted by a revolving motion of the movable scroll member 9 relative to a fixed scroll member 15 and the pressure in the operating chamber B becomes lower than that in the suction chamber A, a major part of a coolant gas flows from the suction chamber A in the direction of an arrow T through a suction passage 11b of the fixed ring 11, while a part of the gas flows through the gap between a boss part 9b of the movable scroll member 9 and a balance weight 14, through gaps at the bearing 10 and the communication hole 9e and is sucked into the operating chamber B in the direction of P, Q, R to forcibly cool and lubricate the bearing 10. On the other hand, the coolant gas flowing in the direction of the arrow T induces a suction at an opening part of the hole 9e when it is moved to the side of scroll parts 9c, 15b, thereby promoting the cooling and lubricating effects for the bearing 10. |
