PURPOSE:To make it possible to prevent breakage and non-alignment of cord intervals by assembling a first stage cylindrical carcass more strictly with an high accuracy employing a two-stage type molding method. CONSTITUTION:A former D is composed of a center former D1 free to expand, bead locks D2 and D3 arranged on the shorter side thereof, plyformers D4 and D5 free to expand arranged on both sides of the bead locks D2 and D3 and bead holders D6 and D7 arranged on both sides of the plyformers D4 and D5. The bead locks D2 and D3 and the plyformers D4 and D5 connect to or separate from the center former D1 synchronizing it. Components except for the bead holders D6 and D7 are free to rotate about a shaft regardless of the axial position thereof. The center former D1 is made up of pistons 3 arranged in several sets on the circumferential part of a disc 2 projected from a shaft 1 free to rotate and magnets 4 buried in the outer surface of the respective pistons 3. |
