PURPOSE:To reduce fluctuation in the fuel discharge rate of a fuel pump caused by variation in fuel pressure and to enable to discharge fuel in a stable manner, by providing a slow current discharge circuit, a control cancelling circuit, etc. for interrupting controlling operation temporarily according to the operational conditions of an internal combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:A signal (a) produced from a ''full'' switch operated when an engine is operated at its full output, a ''start'' switch operated at the time of starting the engine, etc. is impressed to a fuel pump driving voltage controlling circuit 5 to control a fuel pump driving circuit 2 in response to the output of the circuit 5. Here, arrangement is such that the output of a slow current discharge circuit 3 connected to the driving circuit 2 is feedbacked to the circuit 2 and that the voltage of a fuel pump is detected by a voltage detecting circuit 6 and feedbacked to the control circuit 5. In an apparatus arranged as above, a control cancelling circuit 7 is further provided at the front stage of the control circuit 5. The circuit 7 includes terminals E, F, G, to which outputs of the ''full'' switch, ''start'' switch and a water temperature switch are applied respectively, so that control is cancelled at the time of starting the engine and during full- load operation of the engine. |
