The invention relates to a vibratory table for compacting concrete or the like, having an upper part, which is mounted such that it can vibrate and is intended for mounting the mould, and a lower part which is coupled to a vibration generator, can vibrate and transfers its vibrations as rebound blows onto an impact surface of the upper part. For the purpose of noise reduction, said vibratory table is designed such that the upper part engages over the lower part in the form of a hood and forms, around the impact surface, a screen which prevents the escape of airborne sound. The upper part can either engage right around the lower part as a closed housing or it engages around the lower part only partially and is sealed, against the escape of airborne sound, on the lower part by a peripheral seal.
