<p>PURPOSE:To enable a head lamp for a car to be monitored by a simple structure, by protruding a part of the lens of the lamp to a position which is visible from a driver's seat and forming a part of lamp housing to allow the light to come through when the lamp is lighted. CONSTITUTION:A monitoring portion 21 is formed in a body with the lens 2 of a head lamp 3 by allowing a part of the upper end surface of the lens 2 to protrude, through a through hole 51 formed in the front fender 5. Accordingly, when a bulb 33 is lighted, a portion of light 3a comes out from the monitoring portion 21, the whole of which is illuminated, and a driver can confirm the lighting easily. The surface of the monitoring portion 21 is coated by the cap 211 of resin or the like, while leaving its visual surface 21a. Thereby, the diffusion of the luminance of the monitoring portion 21 is prevented. Its luminous intensity further increases and visibility is improved by plating its inside with a highly reflective material.</p> |
