发明名称 Method and arrangement for terrain surveillance with a sensor which can be fired away
摘要 A microwave pulse radar with synthetic aperture is used as the sensor which is accommodated in a rocket or a large-calibre projectile. The radar antenna underneath a radome at the tip of the rocket is deflected in its beam direction by a fixed angle theta compared with the axis of the rocket. The rocket is fired indirectly and approaches the terrain to be monitored steeply from above. The pulse radar becomes active from a fixed height. A spin is imparted to the rocket so that the radar beam spirally sweeps and scans the terrain to be monitored from the outside towards the inside as it approaches the ground. The reflected radar pulses are received in the rocket and preprocessed to form a data sequence. The data sequence is transmitted by radio from the rocket to a ground station in which the data sequence is transformed and built up to form an image. A resolution grating of range elements and Doppler zones is used as a basis for this image. The attitude parameters of the rocket which are needed for this are taken from the data sequence.
