The invention relates to a flame-cutting machine, provided with self-contained drive, for bevel cutting on pipes, with a machine body which carries a fusion cutter or cutting torch, for producing a bevelled edge on the end face of a pipe, in which arrangement guide rollers rolling on the end face as well as an outer roller device which runs on the outer periphery of the pipe are provided. The machine body can be moved along the end face of the pipe by means of these rollers or roller devices. The outer or the inner roller device can be pressed against the periphery of the pipe, and one of the two roller devices is connected to a drive, mounted on the machine body, for rotating the relevant roller device. This driven roller device has a considerable width and its diameter is greater at the part nearer the end face of the pipe than at the part further away from the end face.
