PURPOSE:To enhance the linear reproducing performance regardless of a desired magnification ratio, by shifting the optical members of a number according to the image of the desired magnification ratio among the optical members having the solid-state image pickup elements to the position corresponding to the desired magnification. CONSTITUTION:The image on an original 0 put on an image surface 1 is formed in CCDs 2, 3 and 4 placed at the rear side of image forming lenses 5, 6 and 7, respectively which are fixed to the housings 8 and 9. Thus an image of the standard mode is obtained by using two CCDs 2 and 3; while three CCDs 2, 3 and 4 are used to obtain an image of magnification mode. When a user supplies the signal to obtain an image of a desired ratio of magnification in the magnification or standard mode, the housings 8 and 9 move to a position B from a position A or vice versa. As a result, a high-quality image is formed in accordance with a desired ratio of magnification. |
