A wheel support for a amall boat is described. This wheel support comprises a bracket secured to the central portion of a boat transom, and an inverted Y shape frame carrying a pair of wheels at its wider end and pivoted to the bracket at its narrower end. With the wheels on the ground and supporting the rear end of the boat, a person can not only easily move a boat by supporting the bow and, but also swing the boat about its longitudinal axis between an upside up position and an upside down position, since the pivotal axis is arranged close to the center of gravity of the boat. The devise is thus particularly useful for the consecutive operation of unloading the boat from a vehicle top carrier, the boat being in upside down position when loaded, of transporting the boat between the vehicle end the body of water, and of launching from the shore, the boat being then in upside up position. The reverse operations are also easily effected and the frame can be detached from the boat when loaded on the vehicle. |
