PURPOSE:To replenish recording sheets surely despite jamming during recording by providing the 1st side jam mode and the 2nd side jam mode. CONSTITUTION:When recording sheets are jammed during recording on the 1st side by an original O1, the number of deficient sheets owing to the jamming are replenished and are fed into a junction tray 15. This is the 1st side jam mode. When the recording sheets removed from the tray 15 are jammed during recording on the 2nd side by an original O2, all the sheets left in the tray 15 are recorded on the 2nd side. Then, the fresh recording sheets for the deficient ones owing to the jam are recorded on the 1st side by the original O2 and are fed into the tray 15. These are recorded on the 2nd side by the original O1, by which both side recording for the deficient sheets is completed. This is the 2nd jam mode. These two modes are operated cyclically until both side recording is completed. In this way, the recording sheets are replenished surely despite jamming during recording. |
