PURPOSE:To both obtain good finish of a ground surface and prevent the loading of a grinding wheel, by vertically swivellably supporting a base mount supporting a grinder and vertically oscillatably arranging the grinding wheel. CONSTITUTION:A base mount 10, supporting a grinder 27, is vertically swivellably supported about a supporting shaft 3 as the center axis by a crank mechanism, consisting of a crank rod 9 or the like, and a grinding wheel 28, mounted to the grinder 27, is arranged vertically oscillateably along a welding groove internal face, simultaneously operating force of spring 37, pressing the grinding wheel 28 to the welding groove internal face, is held to constant by a servo mechanism of detectors (not shown). In this way, the grinding wheel 28 can be smoothly moved copying along the groove internal face, and a smoothly finished surface of grinding is obtained, simultaneously even for a long time of operation the loading is never caused in the grinding wheel 28 because of vertical oscillation of the grinding wheel 28. |
