PURPOSE:To make a flaw detecting agent unnecessary, by installing a probe provided on a device body to slot teeth provided on a rotary shaft. moving the device body in the lengthwise direction of the rotary shaft, leading a signal of a probe to a measuring device, and detecting a defect. CONSTITUTION:A half-body 5 is installed to a rotary shaft 1 so that a guide roller 8 and a guide roller 10 are in contact with the surface of the rotary shaft 1 and a surface 9 of slot teeth 2, respectively, and subsequently, to this half- body 5, a half-body 7 is coupled so that a projecting part 4 is fitted into a recessed part 6. After that, a distance between a probe 12 and the surface 9 of the slot teeth 2 is adjusted by turning an adjusting screw 13 of the half-body 7, and a cable 14 is connected to a measuring device 15. A defect of the slot teeth of the rotary shaft is detected by run-moving a device body 3 in the lengthwise direction of the rotary shaft 1 through guide rollers 8, 10, and displaying a signal of the probe 12 by the measuring device 15. In this way, a flaw detecting agent becomes unnecessary. |
