PURPOSE:To hold pressing force of a grinding wheel to constant, by detecting the swivelling displacement of a base plate with a detector, inputting a signal of the detector to a servo mechanism and correcting the pressing force of a spring. CONSTITUTION:A grinding wheel 10 is pressed by a pressing spring 14, and its pressing force is controlled to constant by such means that detected voltage S of a pressing force detector 15 and pressing force preset voltage P are compared by a comparator 16 to operate an oil hydraulic cylinder 11 through a servo amplifier 17. Further to correct the influence of the position of a swivelled base plate 4, that is, empty weight of a grinder to pressing force of the spring 14, output voltage O of a swivelling displacemtn detector 18 is input to the comparator 16. In this way, the pressing force of the spring 14 can be always held to constant. |
