<p>PURPOSE:To perform character processing with high efficiency by repeatedly performing the process of conversion by using an adjacent key information memory and a rule memory when the process of conversion into a character sequence of a different language system is incomplete. CONSTITUTION:An adjacent key information memory NKM is stored with pieces of information on keys arranged adjacently to keys on a keyboard KBD, and a rule memory RLM is stored with rules characteristics to the system processing of a character processor. If the process of conversion into a character sequence of a different language system is incomplete and any substitute character does not reside any more, a shift control circuit SFC displays an error on a display part DSP, so a signal D-TC is sent to a conversion operaton control circuit TCT. Then, the adjacent key information memory NKM and rule memory RLM are used to perform the process of conversion repeatedly, so that if key information is inputted in error, it is automatically converted into normal one.</p> |
