PURPOSE:To obtain a desired number of copies in a short time by reading an original at a time by providing plural stages of recording parts when reading and recording image information of the original on a recording member. CONSTITUTION:Image data obtained by reading an original by a CCD1 is converted by a digital circuit 2 into a binary signal, which is stored in a memory 4 through a buffer circuit 3. The memory 4 consists of a line memory 41 stored with one-line image data or a page memory 42 stored in plural-page image data, and the image data of the memory 4 is outputted to buffer circuits 6-8 under the control of a memory control circuit 5. The data of the buffer circuits 6-8 are supplied to driving circuits 9-11 under the control of a control circuit 18 to drive recording heads 12-14, thus achieving recording. In the control circuit 18, numerals set with a page dial 21, a number dial 20, etc., on a console panel 19 are held in counters 25 and 24 and respective parts are so controlled that copying is carried out according to a specified page and a specified number of sheets. |
