PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency of welding by filling a filler contg. metal powder and metal fluoride respectively at specific wt% into a stainless steel sheath to form a core wire and further coating a specifically composed covering material thereon at a prescribed ratio. CONSTITUTION:The filler 2 is constituted, by wt%, of 70-99% metal powder such as Ni and metal fluoride having <=12,00 deg.C m.p. and is filled at a ratio of 20-45% of the total weight into the stainless steel sheath 1 to form the core wire. The covering material is formed by mixing 20-60% titanium compd. 7-30% metal carbonate and 3-25% metal fluoride having the m.p. in excess of 1,200 deg.C and is coated on the core wire in such a manner that the ratio of the outside diameter of the covering/the diameter of the core wire attains 1.30-1.55. Since the filler 2, the sheath 1 and the covering material 3 are made respectively into the specifically composed 3-layered structure, the welding defect of a stainless steel sheath is prevented. The working efficiency thereof is, therefore, improved. |
