PURPOSE:To reduce sharply a current to be induced in a cooling pipe of superconducting coil device by a method wherein metal pipes consisting of a material having high electric resistance are connected to the ends of the cooling pipe. CONSTITUTION:The metal pipes 4 of proper length consisting of the material having a high electric resistivity at an extremely low temperature like stainless steel are connected to the cooling pipe 2 for the superconducting coil. Accordingly the induction current to flow in the cooling pipe 2 can be reduced sharply, and consumption of energy, temperature rise of coolant and coil can be suppressed at a value being out of the question for practical use. |
