<p>PURPOSE:To make a tape deck in a thin shape by constituting such that a pair of holding pawls which can be freely opened and closed grasp a projection on the upper surface of a tape cassette from both sides. CONSTITUTION:When the tape cassette 13 is inserted, the projection part 13a abuts on a pair of holding pawls 52 and 52b that a spring 57 energizes inwardly. If the cassette 13 is further inserted, it is engaged with engagement surfaces 54 and 54b and surely grasped. The right and left side wall 18 of a chassis guide a driving member 17 supporting the holding pawl 52, while a guide shaft 80 supports the member 17. If unexpected force is applied when the cassette is loaded of unloaded, the cassette can be moved smoothly because the driving member 17 is supported at three points. Since the upper surface of a grasping member 16 grasping the projection 13a of the cassette is lower than that of the projection, the tape deck can be made in a thin shape.</p> |
