PURPOSE:To reduce shock because of speed reduction and to enhance durability of frictional engagement devices by such a construction that the intermediate position can be temporarily attained if any speed-change input is given manually which skips over the intermediate position. CONSTITUTION:This oil-hydraulic controlling device for automatic speed changer is provided with a regulator valve 102 to regulate the pressure of oil from the oil pressure source 101, a manual valve 210, solenoid valves 320, 330, 340, 380, to be put under control in accordance with the driving condition of the vehicle, and a 1-3 shift 220, a 2-3 shift 230 and a 3-4 ahift 240 to control selectively the brake and clutch of the speed changer. In this case, the manual valve 210 is put in communication with the 2-3 shift valve 230, and a governor valve 500 is furnished in order to exhaust the line pressure in an oil line 4S, through which the line pressure to operate the 2-3 shift valve 230 to No.1, No.2 speed sides is fed, at the time the actual drive speed is as high as over a certain set value of speed. Thus the intended purpose can be attained. |
