PURPOSE:To reduce the waste of materials and mechanical work and to reduce cost by compressing a pipe having prescribed length, formig small-diameter parts and a large- diameter part at both ends, and coupling anut, formed by plate work, with one end of the large-diameter part while thread-cutting the other end. CONSTITUTION:A pipe material having a diameter (m) is cut to prescribed length and reduced in diameter by compression; and small-diameter parts 1 and 2 having a diameter (e) are formed at both end sides of the pipe material, and a large-diameter part having a diameter (m) is left at an intermediate side. In this case, a hexagonal external circumference part 4 having certain width (d) is formed at one end side of the large-diameter part 3 close to the small-diameter part 2. On the other hand, a wheel part 5 which has teeth at its external circumference of the diameter (d) and a hexagonal part, engaged with the hexagonal external circumference part 4, at its internal circumference is formed by plate work. Then, the wheel part 5 is fitted from the side of the small-diameter part 2 of the pipe material, its hexagonal hole part is engaged wth the hexagonal external circumference part 4, and the end part of the hexagonal external circumference part 4 on the side of the small-diameter part 2 is fixed as a calked part 6.
