PURPOSE:In a flexible rope composed of an outside cable and an inside wire, to obtain an easy to move product through simple method by constructing such that the gap between an end metal associated with a bearing to be provided at the end of the inside wire and the outer ring idly fitted onto the outercircumference can be formed easily. CONSTITUTION:An end metal 2 is casted at the end of an inner wire 1 of a flexible rope, while an outer ring 3 is idly fitted onto the outercircumference of the end metal 2. Here the outer ring 3 is formed into a bottomed cup having the open end then a notched groove 4 of approximately L-shape extending axially while bending in the circumferential direction is provided at the open edge. Then the end metal 2 is inserted into the outer ring 3 and the inner wire 1 is penetrated through said notch 4, thereafter the open edge of the outer ring 3 is bent inwardly along the entire circumference to prevent the removal of the end metal 2 through a cover plate 5. Furthermore a bleece is encapsulated in the outer ring 3 to form a plane bearing between the end metal 2 thus to rotate the end metal 2 when the stretching direction of the wire 1 has changed in the notch 4a of the notch groove 4. |
