PURPOSE:To prevent the cage member from becoming eccentric from the center of the coupling due to the wedging function of the ball by making the spherical faces of the outer and inner members and the cage member in a equi-speed universal coupling slightly eccentric. CONSTITUTION:An equi-speed universal coupling has an inner and outer members 2, 1 to be fitted through a cage member 3 and balls 9 are contained in a plurality of ball windows 8 of the cage member 3. The cage member 3 has the inner and outer diameter spherical faces 4, 5 where the outer diameter spherical face 4 is fitted in the inner diameter spherical face 6 of the outer member 1 while the inner diameter spherical face 5 is fitted in the outer diameter spherical face 7 of the inner member 2. Then the center of the inner diameter spherical face 6 is slightly displaced to the left against the center 0 of the outer spherical face 4 to bring onto 01, while the cener of the outer spherical face 7 is slightly displaced to the left against the center 0 of the inner diameter spherical face 5 to bring onto 01 and to construct such that the gaps 12, 13 between the spherical faces 4, 6 and 5, 7 will be reduced gradually against the one side or the other side.
