<p>The hothouse for growing plants has a conventional translucent roof, the plants being accommodated in loose trays, while devices for regulation of climate and humidity are included. It has means for transporting the trays (8) while growth is taking place between a starting station (6) and a final one (9), harvesting or other processing of the plants taking place in the latter station. The hothouse itself is of a height such that the roof is only slightly above the trays. There can be rails (2) running between the stations and on which the trays travel, typically sloping so that they do so under gravity to the final station.</p> |
