PURPOSE:To obtain an image of high resolving power and good quality and to obtain a long-life developer by using powder consisting of a ferritic material of specific grain sizes and resistance values for its carriers. CONSTITUTION:The grain size of the ferritic material is controlled to 60-120mum grain sizes because ground stains increase if they are <=60mum, and resolving power degrades if >=120mum and the resistance is controlled to 10<6>-10<11>OMEGA-cm resistance values because carrier draw developing takes place if they are <=10<6>OMEGA- cm and an edge effect is produced if >=10<11>OMEGA-cm is used for the carriers consisting of a ferritic material. Thereby, the images of high resolving power and good quality are obtained and the life of the developer is extended. |
