PURPOSE:To manufacture a P-N junction superconductive element, wherein a current value is readily set at the time of operation and which performs stable operation with respect to a heat cycle, by forming the P-N junction by a P conductive type degenerated semiconductor layer and an N conductive type degenerated semiconductor layer. CONSTITUTION:Take out electrodes 11a and 12a are formed on the degenerated semiconductor layers 11 and 12 of a P-N junction superconductive element 10. The superconductive element has the following structure. The P conductive type degenerated semiconductor 11 is formed by tellurium tine(SnTe), germanium tellurium(GeTe), and the like, and the N conductive type regenerated semiconductor layer 12 is formed by lead tellurium(PbTe) and the like. The superconductive type bodies are arranged on both sides of the P-N juction. By connecting the two superconductive regions by the P-N junction in this way, the operational characteristics are readily set, the stable operation with respect to the heat cycle can be performed, and its manufacture is easy. |
