A method of manufacturing functional socks having a coating layer of latex, rice bran and loess on the surface of a heel part is provided to obtain socks with effects of preventing keratinization in a human heel part, removing keratin, preventing skin aging and heel fissures and improving moisturization. Functional socks for prevention of keratinization are formed by a coating layer(1) with a specified thickness on the internal surface which contacts the heel. The functional socks are made by the steps of: mixing 55 to 65% by weight of liquid latex, 5 to 15% by weight of rice bran, 1 to 5% by weight of loess, 3 to 7% by weight of polyvinyl acetate, 2 to 6% by weight of polystyrene, 1 to 5% by weight of styrene-butadiene, 2 to 6% by weight of acrylic ester, 2 to 6% by weight of alkyd resin, 2 to 6% by weight of amino resin and 1 to 5% by weight of epoxy resin, putting the inside surface of socks into the obtained coating liquid, drying the coating layer and vulcanizing the socks at 150 to 200deg.C for 1 to 10min. |
