<p>NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formulaI(R1 is leucyl, valyl or valyl-leucyl; R2 is H or CH3; R3 and R4 are CH3, C2H5, C2H4OH, etc.). EXAMPLE:4-[(t-Butyloxycarbonyl-L-valyl-L-leucyl-glycyl-L-arginyl)amino ]-N,N- diethyl-aniline. USE:A color-developing substrate for the determination of a specific enzymatic activity, and its intermediate. It is insensitive to hemoglobin, etc. in blood specimen, especially icteric blood. Stable in water and buffer solutions. PROCESS:The objective compound can be prepared by (1) reacting arginine, etc. having protected amino group and guanidino group with a 4-amino-N,N-dialkylaniline derivative in the presence of a condensation agent, and (2) reacting the resultant novel compound of formula II (R1 is protecting group of N-terminal; R2 is derivative of formulaI, etc.) with amino-protected glycine and leucyl-glycine, etc. in the presence of a condensation agent.</p> |
